How We Work Together
-
Communities, organizations, or leadership teams begin by reaching out through our website. This stage is about relationship, not transaction. We will schedule an introductory conversation to learn about the community’s context, priorities, and readiness. Outcome: Mutual understanding and confirmation of a good fit.
-
Before arriving on-site, Patrick and Lloyd dedicate two full days to preparation and relationship-building, which may include:
Listening sessions with leadership, Elders, and frontline workers (virtual or phone)
Reviewing community-identified priorities and existing supports
Co-designing workshop goals, structure, and cultural protocols
Travel planning and logistics for remote locations
Outcome: A culturally grounded, community-informed facilitation and workshop plan.
-
Patrick and Lloyd travel to the community and stay on-site for four days or eight days, allowing time for trust-building, depth, and flexibility. Eight days is recommended for Grief & Loss work. The visit may include:
Community-wide gatherings and small group sessions
Harm reduction and crisis response workshops
Healing, reflection, and cultural reconnection spaces
Meetings with local helpers, leadership, and service providers
Informal time to listen, observe, and build relationships
Outcome: Shared learning, strengthened local capacity, and community-led action pathways.
-
Following the visit, Patrick and Lloyd dedicate two days to wrap-up and follow-through, which may include:
A written or verbal summary of themes, strengths, and recommendations
Follow-up calls with community leads
Resource sharing and next-step planning
Support for sustaining momentum after the workshop
Outcome: Clear next steps and tools the community can carry forward.
-
Communities may choose to continue working with Patrick and Lloyd through:
Follow-up visits
Coaching or advisory support
Crisis response consultation
Long-term partnership agreements
Our work begins with relationship and listening. We do not bring a one-size-fits-all program—each engagement is shaped by the community’s priorities, strengths, and cultural context.
Booking an engagement with Patrick and Lloyd is a collaborative process, focused on fit, readiness, and shared goals. We take time to prepare before arriving, remain fully present during our visit, and support integration afterward. Our approach is designed for depth and impact, especially in remote communities. Preparation and follow-up are as important as our time together in your territory.
We work alongside leadership, Elders, helpers, and frontline workers in your community to co-design culturally grounded harm reduction strategies and healing pathways that strengthen local care, resilience, and self-determination. Reach out through the form below, we will get back to you as soon as we can!
